I've always thought as lightsworns as a deck for the gambling type, on account of the mills, but I'm curious, were you trying to help others by this or are you looking for tips, it doesn't say but I think this was made to help others.

Lightsworns are not gamble if you control it and its easy with this deck and this is to inform

try adding chaos stuff ie sorcs and trags and gorz so u can get eclipse off moar consistently, u can also banish diabolos wit eclipse, take out le gearfriends and side some daedulus

Its pretty nice, I've always liked LightRay's I have a LightRay Sorcerer deck thats anti meta but, FIVE.. Not saying its bad cuz i've never tested but it seems pretty good..

I know most lightsworn decks don't usually run this, but i suggest trying starlight road because you can swarm pretty easily and you don't wanna lose it all in 1 move. of course, i'm no experet on lightsworns so don't run it if you don't feel the need to.

Lightsworn monsters do not swarm easily. None of them can be special summoned except for wulf. The Lightsworn deck you're thinking about is Twilgiht which is the one I run. It heavily depends on luck and milling the right cards into the grave. Then when you have enough cards in grave you can go into a lot of synching, xyzing, ect. Lightsworn by themselves aren't good enough. And there should always be more monsters than spells/traps combined. ALWAYS.

The only Lightray monster I would ever like to run in my Twilight build is Lightray Deadalus. 2600 beater and works great when opp has a field spell since you can pop the field spell and 2 other cards on field.

And honestly, I do not like running traps in Lightsworns, seems to slow it down quite a bit. I would rather use questions/reasoning in replace. Those are just my techs though lol.

Well maybe my experience is a little outdated. I havent really ran lightsworns ever since the glow up bulb and spore days so they don't have a lot of swarming ability now. but seeing as how you still use them now your experience is more valuable than mine ;P

I agree with Yagami and Grimmy. Chaos stuff makes the deck more consistent to me and cards like Gorz can offer protection. I don't really run traps in my Lightsworn builds either because it slows it down. I might side decrees or beckoning lights though.

Theres to many variants of LS/twilight

I use to use decree, but since it's my only trap and opponents usually run MSTs, they'll use it against decree if you flip it.

There is no variant of Twilight, cause Twilight is a variant of Lightsworn...

I said LS/Twilight..... And yes there is even if its a variant of LS theres still different variants of the Twilight variant of LS O_o

It basically comes down to players preference really. You should just use what you think would work the best.

I just tried an actual LS pure build for 1st time ever... have wanted to for a while...

First time using them I otk'd 2nd turn against kairyu lol-->

and from the 3 duels we had...they were much more consistent then I expected....

Cool! I do not really know about Lightsworn OTK but I think the deck is well-made also that I never tried to play with lightsworns.. but I think you should duel me some time.

I don't know about twilight... After playing this style I have to admit its at least possible this could be more worth your time... I have to agree with him and say it at least deserves a chance after the new ban-list for people to try to make it up there in the tier's again

Lol try running sephylon along with a card for the effect but other than that good deck man
